Scot Sims is a native of Port Arthur, TX and currently resides in the Southeast Texas region.
Scot’s
career in the valve industry began in 1986 when he joined NSS Henze
Valve & Actuator Repair Services as a Regional Accounts Manager. In the
following years he has held numerous positions within the industry
with leading valve manufactures such as TYCO, CurtissWright and most recently DeZURIK,
where he serves as the Global Downstream Director.
His unique background in the valve industry encompasses valve repair, OEM valve and valve automation, manufacturing and distribution.
Scot currently holds
multiple US Copyrights on numerous training courses he authored on
industrial valves and automation flow control equipment.
